Trafford MV Rugby Football and Cricket Club wishes all it's members, volunteers, supporters and friends a Very Happy New Year as we say farewell to 2025.
We wish you all success and happiness for yourselves and your extended families.
The Clubhouse will be open this afternoon between 1pm and 5pm if you wish to call in and have a drink with your friends or family - the kids are welcome to have a run around on the fields. Or call in after a relaxing walk along the river bank with your pooch !!
We hope to see some of you this coming weekend with the return of live rugby action with the 1st XV welcoming Eccles for a huge game to start the year.
On Sunday we welcome back our mini / junior / teenage rugby players as our pathway of rugby continues to grown and impress on all fronts.
We also look forward to the continued growth and success of our Ladies and Girls section in 2026.
Our Cricketers will begin preparations for their Summer season with winter nets starting on Jan 22nd and they will be keen to attract new players at all levels in 2026.

Thursday February 5th - Opening game of the 2026 Six Nations Championship between France and Ireland kicking off at 8.10pm
Saturday February 7th - England's opening game of the 2026 Six Nations Championship as they take on the challenge of a Wales team looking for a change in form - kicking off at 4.40pm
We are now stocking a range of bottled ales as an option to the draught ales we have on the bar - we hope you will try these and make any request for ways we can improve.
