Trafford MV have a feast in store for all Rugby lovers this Saturday as they roll out 3 senior men's teams once again this season. The clubs 1st XV play host to Tarleton and will be looking to improve further on recent good performances to secure a vital win in round 15 of the Counties 1 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire League kicking off at 2.15pm . A Valentines Day massacre must be avoided at all costs as results are now critical for TMV. Admission to the game is free.
Trafford's 2nd and 3rd XV's both take to the road with North Manchester and Oldham the respective opposition - there will be no sweet talking for sure as all 4 teams are side by side in their league tables. With results vital to league positions neither game will be a walk in the park!
Trafford MV are calling on their supporters to show big home support but also call out to local neutrals and also to people new to rugby to come down and watch a game and enjoy the atmosphere around a game of rugby.
The Clubhouse will be open for the Six Nations games showing on the TV through the afternoon opening with Ireland vs Italy at 2.10pm followed by the much heralded Calcutta Cup clash between Scotland and England at 4.40pm. The game will be shown on big screens and bar and hot street food will be available to purchase. No need to book a table and non members are very welcome.
Come down to Trafford MV on Valentines Day and show your heart !

Dates for the Diary
Saturday February 14th - Trafford MV 1st XV vs Tarleton 1st XV - KO 2.15PM - Please come down and support our Club XV's.
Saturday February 14th - IRELAND will play host to ITALY (ko 2.10pm) in the early kick off in round 2 of the Six Nations and they will be looking for an emphatic response following their 36-14 defeat in Paris. Italy will be bouyant however following a good 18-15 win over Scotland in a very wet Rome.
Later in the afternoon The Calcutta Cup will be at stake as Scotland welcome England to Murrayfield (ko 2.10pm). SCOTLAND will surely show more passion and hunger than they did against Italy and it will be needed to keep the Auld Enemy at bay as ENGLAND looked very confident in beating Wales by a healthy 48-7 last weekend.
Sunday February 15th - The Clubhouse will open once again to show the WALES vs FRANCE game kicking off at 3.10pm in Cardiff. France will be firm favourites in the wake of their comprehensive beating of Ireland who need to quickly find their stride and get new players bedded into positions.
Friday February 27th - The Fraudsters - U15's Rugby Fundraiser - Tickets now available from Steve Newton on 07725 720338 Adult £10 / Child £5 / Family £25
We are now stocking a range of bottled ales as an option to the draught ales we have on the bar - we hope you will try these and make any request for ways we can improve.
