Trafford MV's 2nd XV play at home this Saturday and they too are involved in a promotion battle as they seek to oust Aspull from 2nd place in their league. Tyldesley are the visitors for the 2nd XV this weekend and your support would be welcomed.
The 2nd XV have a few changes to their side bur the strength of the team is there to be seen.
In the front row Joe Cooper and Joe McVeigh start as props either side of the enigmatic Jason Alexander (who's that people might ask !!!)
The second row has the mobile pairing of Joe Hynes and Chris Ward.
We have a rare appearance from Simon Thornton as flanker with young Dan Clark adding pace on the other flank. Jimmy Craven makes the No 8 position his own this week.
Joe Best and Ollie Jones continue their working relationship at 9 and 10 respectively.
The centre partnership this week see's Adam Mason and Joe Owen linking up.
Out wide on the wings Laurence Ryan and Charlie Valentine will be looking for opportunities to show their heels to the opposition.
Fenton Dickinson has an opportunity to see the gaps in front of him from full back.
Sam Woolley, Bobby Harrop and Neil Dickinson make up the finishers bench and each will be looking to have an impact on the game in due time.
On Sunday May 12th we will be holding our Mini - Junior Presentation Day at the Club. Each age group will be able to celebrate the seasons successes.
