We have a BIG weekend of Rugby coming up at Trafford MV this weekend as we have our 1st XV playing at Home on the Senior pitch as they play host to Tarleton 1st XV in a very important League match.

These league matches are now becoming 'must win' games for the 1st XV and they call on members from across all sections of the Club to man the touchline and get behind them as they battle against relegation.

In the Clubhouse there will be Six Nations Rugby showing on the screens in both clubrooms - so please put the call out to all the junior parent groups. If you are not playing for the teams on the park then drag yourself and your mates down to watch the 6 Nations matches in a rugby clubhouse - YOUR RUGBY CLUBHOUSE. Invite your workmates or neighbours to join you for the games. Lets work hard to FILL THE CLUBHOUSE.

Saturday February 14th - Trafford MV 1st XV vs Tarleton 1st XV - KO 2.15PM - Please come down and support our Club XV's.

Saturday February 14th - IRELAND will play host to ITALY (ko 2.10pm) in the early kick off in round 2 of the Six Nations and they will be looking for an emphatic response following their 36-14 defeat in Paris. Italy will be buoyant however following a good 18-15 win over Scotland in a very wet Rome.

Later in the afternoon The Calcutta Cup will be at stake as Scotland welcome England to Murrayfield (ko 4.40pm). SCOTLAND will surely show more passion and hunger than they did against Italy and it will be needed to keep the Auld Enemy at bay as ENGLAND looked very confident in beating Wales by a healthy 48-7 last weekend.

Sunday February 15th - The Clubhouse will open once again to show the WALES vs FRANCE game kicking off at 3.10pm in Cardiff. France will be firm favourites in the wake of their comprehensive beating of Ireland who need to quickly find their stride and get new players bedded into positions.
