This coming Friday we have a great evening lined up with a Friday Night under the lights Vet's (over 35's) game Trafford MV vs Didsbury Toc H kicking off at 7.00pm - If you are interested in being in the playing squad please drop me a message and I will forward your interest - a great way to keep involved with the Club.
If you are not interested in playing we would love to see you on the touchline for which I am sure there will be good beers and even better banter ! The Club Bar will be open from 5.00pm ahead of the game.
Friday 18th is also the opening night of our own South Of The River Beer Festival - tickets are available from the Bar until Thursday evening. Online tickets are available from Eventbrite (just search for South Of The River Beer Festival) - purchases ahead of the festival include a free drink. Tickets will be available on the door but do not qualify for a free drink ! Doors open at 5.00pm on Friday and Noon on Saturday - there will be Live Music from 3 performers on Friday and 5 performers on Saturday for your enjoyment - and food will be available to purchase. We hope to see a good few of our old team mates coming along to enjoy the weekend !

It is less than a week off our annual Beer Festival at Trafford MV Rugby Club as our South Of The River event opens it's doors on Friday 18th Sept.
We need to call on YOU to help us out and VOLUNTEER to help us cover the shifts to help the event run smoothly ! Please drop wilfdooley@virginmedia.com a message if you are able to help on the Friday evening ( slots from 5pm till 11pm to be filled) and Saturday afternoon and evening (slots from Noon till 11pm to be covered) shifts will only be an hour or two depending how many helpers we get.
We will also need some assistance on Thursday 17th late during the day with setting up (may include lifting barrels / shifting furniture / laying out function room, etc).
PLEASE DON'T LEAVE IT ALL TO SOME ONE ELSE - IT'S GOOD FUN TO HELP TOO !
The Beer Festival is one of the biggest events in the Club calendar but it doesn't happen without YOU.
Please help us to promote the event be sharing it with friends / family / neighbours and work colleagues - everyone is welcome including families and non members!
Tickets are now available from the Bar during opening hours - tickets purchased ahead of the event will include a free drink on arrival.

Friday September 25th / Saturday 26th - The delayed start to the League rugby season now see's Trafford MV at home to Glossop on Friday Evening Sept 25th ko TBC - the Trafford MV 2nd XV open their season on Saturday 26th with an away trip to the coast to take on Fleetwood Wyresider's 2nd XV.
