The Trafford MV 2nd XV are the senior host team this Saturday as they play Rossendale 3rds in a 1.15pm kick off on the new pitch at MacPherson Park which should be in perfect condition despite the recent heavy rain.
The 2nd XV a very good blend of youth and experience and following some good results of late they are growing in confidence and currently sit 4th in the league with their opponents just above bottom placed Aldwinians 3rds.
Trafford pack has a useful look to it with an experienced front row of Joe Cooper and Jack Gobbett propping either side of hooker Phil Simms.
Coming into the second row behind them are regulars Adam Whitworth and Joe Hynes.
The back row see's a jump in it's average age as youngsters Andrew Beales and Dan Clark are joined by Chris 'Frogman' Ward returning from a rest period.
This weeks half back pairing is Charlie Valentine at scrum half linking up with stand off Liam Crank.
In the centres there is a solid partnership of Ben Wainwright alongside Adam Mason providing pace and power in the midfield.
The back three see's Sam Wooley and Laurence Ryan on the wings with captain Connor (no relation to Laurence) Ryan at full back.
The finishers on the bench this week are Jason 'Squidge' Alexander , Jimmy Craven and Simon Thornton gracing us with his presence !
