Trafford MV 2nd XV put in yet another formidable performance although the opposition could and should have been much stronger and better organised for a club of Rossendale's stature. The visiting side turned up with only 8 players (well done to those that did make the journey to get the game on) it was then down to TMV to shuffle and switch players from the 3rd XV and off the benches to achieve a playable game (Thank You to the players that were unsettled by the late changes).
Trafford MV's performances over recent weeks have been impressive and have been based on the regular availability of a group of former colts that have made the 2nd XV mobile and aggressive at the breakdowns.
Scores came at regular intervals for TMV as their points scored tally over the last 3 games rose to 209 points a fantastic achievement.

The result see's TMV maintain their 4th spot just a point behind Aspull Development XV - Rossendale slump to the bottom of the league table.
It was great to see a thriving clubhouse after the game showing the strength of the Club off the field as well as on it. Lets keep getting the crowds down during the rest of the 6 Nations games.
No game for the 2nd XV this weekend so the players can rest their knocks and get some training sessions under their belts ahead of Wigan away on Feb 17th.
