It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Diamond - we offer our sincere condolences to his family.
Tony passed away yesterday 28/11/23 following a short illness. He was a popular figure at the Club in his playing days and was a very solid front row player.
He leaves behind a wife Vicky and two daughters Kate and Alex - we offer our sympathy to his close family and friends who will miss him greatly.
Tony was part of a rich playing history that came out of Partington and fed into Metrovicks Rugby Club as we were then. Always one for a good story , especially if you had chance to encounter him in the operating theatres of Park Hospital, Davyhulme, which several injured players had the pleasure !!!!
