This Saturday we have the final game of a very tough season for Trafford MV Senior Men's Rugby kicking off at 3.00pm at MacPherson Park M33 6LR. With great weather being forecast it is the perfect opportunity for the Club as a whole to gather together in the Clubhouse and on the touchline to enjoy a great afternoon's sport.

With the 1st XV fate already confirmed they can still influence the league and help to determine who joins them in ADM 2 next season. Liverpool St Helens are the opposition and just 2 league points separate LSH, Wigan and Aspull, the latter 2 sides playing each other also on Saturday. So for these 3 teams there is everything to play for and TMV can help to spoil somebodies party with a good result and win to close off their campaign.

We wish all the players the very best of luck in the game and thank them for their hard work and efforts taking to the field this season.

The 2nd XV play just down the road at Altrincham Kersal and local bragging rights are there to be taken. The team will be looking for a win to consolidate their 7th place in the league ahead of Bolton - if anyone lives over Altrincham way please get to support the lad's if you can.

The Club thanks all our sponsors and in particular Slater Heelis (Club sponsor) and Bluebell Fitted Furniture (M&J sponsor) for their support throughout the season.

On Sunday our Women's Rugby 1st XV head over to Sheffield Tigers to play their last game of the season and will be looking for a good performance to close off. Sheffield, currently 2nd placed, will be looking for a win as they aim to oust Lincoln Ladies from the top spot.

We will have our Cricket 2nd XI playing at home as we welcome Warrington CC to MacPherson Park - come on down, have a walk along the river bank, grab a coffee locally then join us Trafford MV for an afternoon of sporting fun

Saturday will be a busy day at the Club with the annual Presidents Lunch prior to the game bringing together former players and people from throughout the Club. Rugby and Cricket both being played plus Gaelic Football kids training taking place. Our sunny patio will be filled with folk enjoying an afternoon sport and chat.
