Dont know how we are going to do it yet but I will share the link on Robs Facebook and mine nearer the time.
We will send him on his final forever dive privately as a family when we feel ready so this night is a celebration of his Amazing life with all that loved him x
Can I just ask a favour.. On that day can all that loved him put one photo on his Facebook of your memories with him so we can flood his Facebook page with love
Thank you all for the messages of love and support x Jo x x x
We will remember Rob at today's Presidents Lunch
It is with immense sadness that we advise the untimely passing of our much loved former player Rob Ladd at the age of 45 years.
Rob was recently involved in a scuba diving incident in the Lombok region, off Gili Air Island in Indonesia.
Rob was originally from Hillingdon, North West London and came to Trafford MV as a student at Salford University.
He quickly fitted in with all aspects of the Club sporting and social - proving himself on the Rugby Pitch , on the Cricket Field as well as in the Boxing Ring.
Rob was always full of fun and laughter followed him around , as did mischief, which made being in his company a sought after commodity.
His sense of fun and adventure didn't fit around a 'normal' working life and when the opportunity came Rob grew an interest in scuba diving and moved to Indonesia where he became a proficient instructor on Gili Air Island where he made many friends over the years, living his life to the full.
Without knowing full details it would appear Rob got caught in a strong rip-tide current and subsequently got into difficulties. His body was later retrieved.
The Club sends it's deepest and most sincere to all Rob's family and close friends at this traumatic time.
We will all remember Rob's constantly smiling face at Trafford MV as we remember our times with him and we thank him for his contribution to Club life on and off the field of play.
REST IN PEACE ROB LADD
