This week will see Women's Rugby take a high profile in newspapers, on TV screens , through Social Media and indeed on the Rugby pitches scattered across the country. 
 
The Rugby World Cup will kick off on Friday night Aug 22nd  at The Stadium of Light in Sunderland at 7.30pm. The game between host's England and USA Rugby will be shown live on BBC TV from 6.30pm - we will be showing the game in the Clubhouse at Trafford MV for all those wanting to watch the game in a Rugby Club.
 
Manchester and Salford play their part in this prestigious competition as games from pools A and B are played at the Salford Community Stadium on Saturdays 23rd and 30th of August.
 
Teams from Wales / Australia / Samoa / Canada / Scotland / Fiji will be based in the locality and will play out their group stage games before the top 2 teams in each group move on to the Quarter Finals.
 
Trafford MV and Trafford MV Women's Rugby wish all the competing teams the best of luck in their respective groups, making their nations proud and showing their full potential on the rugby pitch.
