We have 2 home games this weekend with the men's 2nd XV playing at home on Saturday plus the TMV Ladies XV AT home on Sunday afternoon.
On Saturday we field 3 teams once again and eyes will be firmly fixed on getting favourable results on the table. The 1st XV take to the road once again with Wigan as the destination for a 2.15pm ko - this is a winnable game for TMV assuming players are available and also up for the challenge.
The 2nd XV play host to Blackburn 3rds again with a 2.15pm kick off - this will be a tough contest against 4th placed Blackburn but again the best team on the day will take the league points.
Our 3rd XV also play away as they make their way to Littleborough and will go their with confidence following last weeks emphatic 72-12 home win. With the 3rd XV sat in 3rd place with 6 wins under their belts they will be hoping for a good performance against 9th placed Littleborough who have picked up 3 wins to date this season.
On Sunday our Ladies XV will welcome Chester Devas to MacPherson Park for a 2.00pm kick off. The Ladies fought out a good close win last weekend over their Eccles opposition so they will be in a confident mood against a strong Chester side.
On the screens in the Clubhouse on Saturday afternoon we will be showing the final game of the Autumn Internationals as Wales take on South Africa in Cardiff. If you are not playing on Saturday or if you can put off the Christmas Shopping for another week then please come and join us in the Clubhouse for what should be an exciting game.
There will be tasty treats on Sunday afternoon as Thyme and Season Catering serve up the following - Deep filled Bin lid Yorkie Pudds this Sunday, honey roast ham or turkey, Ruffled Roasties, veg, cauli cheese, pig in blanket & proper gravy only £13. No need to book, serving 12 till 4.30
