The 1st XV did their survival hopes no harm with a good bonus point win 41 - 38 over Glossop on Saturday afternoon. In front of a good home crowd gathered for the final home 1st XV game of the season the team survived a second half lapse to record a crucial win. Enough had been done in the first half for the victory to be secured. The win moved TMV up to 9th position above Heaton Moor, Aspull and Glossop.
