A great time was had by all our Trafford MV Walking Rugby group at Kendal 'Auld Greys' Walking Rugby Festival .
Players from Royal RFC Schaumburg in Germany, Annan Rugby and Midlothian Walking Rugby from Scotland, BBH Walking Rugby from Lincolnshire, Trafford MV and the home club Kendal mixed together to form teams and enjoy an afternoon of social Touch Rugby at a variety of walking paces !
The hosts did a great job of organising the event , marshalling proceedings , feeding their guests, etc. It was good fun all told !
This was a great event attended by well over 100 players and shows that there is still Rugby to be played as you get older.
Walking Rugby at TMV
For the remainder of the month the fields at the Club are being rested!
This Wednesday we will look at having our Walking Rugby session at Ashton on Mersey Park.

Hopefully we will find a public space large enough to take us.
If successful we will use the same venue for the following couple of weeks before returning to TMV on Wed June 4th.
After the session we will head back to the Club just a couple of mins away.

July 26th - Saturday - £45 Ticket price includes discounted ticket in the Tattersall enclosure and return coach trip.
