Unfortunately the opposition cried off this fixture on Saturday and left the 2nd and 3rd XV's to play an inter-club game amomh themselves.
Saturday April 26th brings the final Home game of the season to MacPherson Park and what better way to end the season than with a local derby match.

Trafford MV 3rd XV will welcome Sale FC Norsemen to Finney Bank Road for a 3.00pm kick off in what will surely be a well contested encounter.

This will be captain Jordan Hughes last game in charge of the team and he will be calling on his troops for one last big effort to get his team over the line for a winning finish to their season.

This season has been a great achievement for Trafford MV fielding a 3rd as many clubs have resorted to only getting a 2nd XV onto the park on Saturday afternoons. However there is still much work to be done to consolidate on this achievement.

A good win for Trafford MV would see them leapfrog Sale and finish in a good mid table position which in a league which contains many clubs 1st and 2nd XV's.

Trafford's 3rd XV has been a traditional selection featuring vet's, youngsters, dad's , touch rugby players alongside a small core of regular players - all deserve a pat on the back for getting the team through the season. Just one big call out this week to get a strong team plus a strong bench to close off their season.

The 2nd XV will finish their League season with an away game at Aldwinian's.
