Trafford MV lose out by the smallest margin 27-26 at Aldwinians

Trafford MV 1st XV travel to Audenshaw to face Aldwinians RFC in a crucial game in the Counties 1 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire of Northern Division as they as they seek to prevent a gap opening at the foot of the table.

Trafford currently sit in 11th place above points deducted Glossop and just 2 league points behind their opponents Aldwinians who are in 10th position. A favourable result is becoming increasingly more important as we head towards winter.

 

Trafford MVs front row see's the return of James Webster at prop with Jack Gobbett either side of hooker Craig Collier.

 

Andrew Clegg captains the side from the second row with Tyler Stevens alongside him.

 

The back row see's Kieran Edgar and Lewis Kingdon flanking with Chris Ward locking out at No 8.

 

This weeks half back partnership see's Ollie Jones at scrum half linking up with newcomer Jordan Parker at fly half.

 

The back line see's the coming together of Ben Wainwright and Matt Coxon in the centres with Jamie Kingdon and Jamie Salmon on the wings.

 

Jamie Parker completes the starting XV taking the full back spot.

 

On the bench for this game we have Joe Cooper and Jimmy Craven giving forward cover and Eanna Glynn ready to add pace in the backs when required.
