With no game this weekend for the 1st or 3rd XV's all the focus this Saturday falls upon the 2nd XV as they make the very short journey to face Eccles 3rd XV. Kick Off is at 2.15pm at Gorton St, Eccles M30 7LZ

 

After a disappointing 15-45 defeat at home to Warrington last weekend the 2nd XV will be looking to bounce back and return to winning ways. The game is a top of the table clash as Eccles head the league with 5 wins and 1 defeat, the same as TMV, but with a much better points for and against differential.

 

Connor Ryan captains the side from prop alongside James Halsall at hooker and Jack Gobbett in the front row. Packing down in the second row is Tyler Stevens and Nico Pickard. Joe Walls starts the game at No 8 with Joe Hynes and Andrew Beales on the flanks.

 

Jamie Parker at scrum half links up with Ben Wainwright at stand off. In the centres Matt Coxon is joined by Kallum Doohan while the wide runners on the wings are Laurence Ryan and Callum Rigg. Dylan McDonald completes the starting XV at full back.

 

There is a strong bench to add to the mix with Joe McVeigh, Fraser McAully and Adam Whitworth as forward cover and James Diaper and Jacob Grant covering the backs.

 

On Sunday the Trafford MV Womens XV travel to take on Liverpool St Helens Women in a Cup game kicking off at 2.00pm
