Once again it is with great sadness that the Club announces the passing of yet another former player and Club steward Tommy Williams.

Tommy was well known within the club for his wit and banter and he soon collected the nick-name 'Rock On' which stuck with him till the end. On the field Tommy was a very sound prop and came into his own when although playing lower team rugby we encountered a front row player crisis and Tommy stepped forward and played 1st XV front row ,holding his own easily.

Tommy was a part of the Partington contingent that played a large part in the Club at one time.

Tommy leaves behind Peter, Laura and Michael - his children.
We offer our sincere condolences as a Club to all his family, friends and former Club mates.

You will be able to pay your last respects to Tommy as below

Altrincham Crematorium on Thursday May 23rd at 12.00 noon followed by a reception at The Little B public house in Sale.
It is requested that you wear a T Shirt featuring your favourite band if possible - if not a TMV logo would be appreciated we are sure.
