Trafford MV 3rd XV took the short journey to Broughton Park in a big game, a double header with double league points at stake. Once again poor player availability left TMV scrapping about for players until the last minute but the game was on and weather conditions were good.

Trafford worked hard under stand in skipper Dave Hopper and were to become eventual winners in a very close fought game.

Tries came for Trafford through Jack Ryan (his first for the Club), Charlie Massie, Frazer Goodwin, Jordan Rigg and A.N. Other none of the tries were converted. Callum Boyd added a penalty kick to complete MV's scoring to win the game 24 - 28 away from home - a great result - well done.

It was a senior rugby debut for Frazer Goodwin which included his debut try. To cap his day Frazer was also awarded the Player of the Match.

It is yet another plaudit for the mini / junior / teen section of the Club that has seen a number of players show their merit in Senior and indeed 1st XV rugby this season - well done to all those young players that have progressed through the age group and this fantastic achievement.
