A big Thank You to everyone that attended the South Of The River Beer Festival last weekend.
It was a great success welcoming lots of new people into the Clubhouse and lots of fun was had by all.
Thanks to our entertainers and to the caterers for keeping us going throughout the day and evenings.
The Beer Festival has become a regulat part of the Clubs Social Calendar and players and members are encouraged to joinin and attend Club events.
In addition to the great time had be all we also focused on our charity for the event Papyrus UK Suicide Prevention | Prevention of Young Suicide (papyrus-uk.org) aided in their fundraising by A Walk of Hope 2024 — 3 Dads Walking - one of the 3 Dad's Mike Palmer attended and said a few words - to this great, worthy cause we raised over £600 - Thanks to all that donated to the cause via our raffles at the event.
We will be looking to put a date in the diary for next year so keep your eyes and ears open so that you can save the date !

What a great way to get the 2024/25 season up and running off the field as well as on it !
We have the return of our much enjoyed South Of The River Beer Festival - which highlights our position on the southern bank of the River Mersey.
We will be serving up a great range of cask ales, from across neighbouring counties, to suit all tastes. Thirst quenching and fruity ciders. Prosecco and Gins will be available from our pop up bar. A full range of other popular drinks will be available from our well stocked bar. We will also have a range of low and no alcohol products for drivers and non imbibers.
A tasty food menu will be available to purchase to help manage you through the course of the Friday and Saturday sessions.
We will have live music on both Friday evening and throughout the day on Saturday.
There will be a live rugby match played in the afternoon on Saturday for your entertainment.

This year our Charity partner will be 3 Dads Walking who work in tandem with Papyrus UK Suicide Prevention | Prevention of Young Suicide (papyrus-uk.org) - raising awareness and prevention of suicide among young people.

The Beer Festival is one of the highlights in the Club calendar and we would like you to be a part of it. Tickets will be available shortly both from the bar and on line - keep your eyes open and ask at the bar if you are interested.
Please show your support by sharing our event on social media / mention the event to friends, neighbours and work colleagues - bring a group down / sponsor us if you can / buy a ticket and come along so we can keep wastage to a minimum and not have to pour any away !!!!!
