Social rugby was the winner on Saturday as both Trafford MV and Carrington pulled the plug's out during the week to get 2 teams onto the pitch for the game to go ahead - all credit to the players that turned out.

Saturdays game was a wide open game as the score 40-31 to TMV suggests as both teams threw the ball around. With social rugby under the spotlight across the country it was good to see this spirited game taking place. Trafford were eventual 40-31 winners and ran in 6 tries through Jason Alexander, Callum Boyd, Dave Hopper 2, Andy Quigley and Aaron Fagan. Conversion were added by Callum Boyd 1 and James Diaper 4. Simon Wan was POTM for Trafford. Other good performances came from Joe McVeigh, Chris Farmiloe and Adam Fall. Congratulations to both teams on getting social players onto the pitch and keeping grassroots Rugby alive and kicking.
