This coming weekend see's a return to League Rugby for all 4 Trafford MV Senior teams. Both the Men's and Ladies 1st XV's have a game on Saturday with the men locally at Didsbury Toc H while the Ladies have a long away trip all the way to Lincoln. Obviously with the current weather situation all games may well carry a question mark as to whether the game gets played !
Playing at home on Saturday with a 2.15pm kick off is the TMV 2nd XV who will welcome Bury 2nd XV as their opposition. The 3rd XV also take to the road to face East Manchester 2nd XV.
On Sunday we will have mini / junior / teen rugby on the fields at MacPherson Park as our young players enjoy training and matches.
We would encourage spectators and parents to venture into the warmth of the clubhouse to enjoy our hospitality during the cold weather snap - hot and cold drinks are available as are snacks and sweets from the bar / coffee machine / kitchen.
Lets hope Storm Goretti blows over quickly and allows games to go ahead.
If games do happen to be cancelled the Clubhouse will still be open and players are welcome to join Club members socially for the afternoon.

Thursday February 5th - Opening game of the 2026 Six Nations Championship between France and Ireland kicking off at 8.10pm
Saturday February 7th - England's opening game of the 2026 Six Nations Championship as they take on the challenge of a Wales team looking for a change in form - kicking off at 4.40pm
