Saturday
Opening proceedings will be Trafford MV 1st XI hosting Wirral CC on a 12.30pm start. Trafford really need to find a vein of good form to turn their season around. Struggling at the foot of the league TMV will have a job on their hands against their opposition who are currently placed 6th. The ability is there in the TMV team but confidence is lacking and a couple of good results could make big changes. More time in nets could also contribute to better results. RESULT - WIRRAL CC WON BY 7 WICKETS
The 2nd XI will make their way into Cheshire to face Over Peover CC with a 1.00pm start. This should be a good contest with a 3rd placed Trafford MV team looking for points to keep pressure on 2nd placed Brooklands. Home team Over Peover will be keen to strengthen their mid table position. RESULT - OVER PEOVER CC WON BY 7 RUNS
Sunday
There is a real local derby match on Sunday as Ashton on Mersey CC 3rd XI make the very short journey up Little Ees Lane to Finny Bank Road to face Trafford MV 3rd XI with a 2.00pm start to proceedings. Trafford MV will potentially be classed favourites on the day as their 4th position overlooks the visitors 8th placing in the league - however who can tell until the final ball is bowled. RESULT - TRAFFORD METROVICS CC WON BY 64 RUNS
Trafford MV 4th XI make a fairly short journey to face Didsbury CC 5th XI again with a 2.00pm start. A top of the table clash with the 2nd placed home side welcoming current league leaders Trafford MV for a crunch clash. The onus is with TMV going into the game but a battle will surely be on the cards. RESULT - DIDSBURY CC WON BY 40 RUNS
