Minis & Junior Rugby has been back in full flow on Sundays, and even midweek training, since the start of September and our young players are loving it. 

 

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, family friendly club putting the interest of the young players (and having fun) at the top of the agenda. 

 

The Club had a great Summer with an inspirational visit from the Wales Ladies Rugby World Cup squad who based themselves at Trafford MV for a 2 week training camp, for their group stage games played at Salford Community Stadium. This visit, and that of the Ireland Men's U20 World Cup squad in 2016 is testament to the standard of, and the investment we have made in, the pitches and facilities at Trafford MV. The Welsh internationals and coaches didn't quite believe it was a natural grass pitch - although it did take a lot of irrigation over the summer months!

 

As a club we can't afford to stand still as the sport of Rugby Union grows at all levels of the game, and especially after the Women's Rugby World Cup and the huge success for the Red Roses. And for Trafford MV, M&J Rugby is where it all begins - from the 'micros' (starting at 3 years of age) all the way through to Jnr/Snr Colts, player growth and development is our focus.

We have great private pitches, a warm and friendly clubhouse for parents and children, hot post match food, all year activities including cricket available, qualified coaches at all age levels. We are a real rugby club for real people !
