This Saturday (13th) Trafford MV 1st XI make the short journey to Bowdon Vale C.C. for a 12.30pm start in the Cheshire Cricket League Div'n 2. Bowdon Vale are currently sitting comfortable in 4th place in the division while Trafford MV need to get some points in the bag to move up from 11th place and put pressure on Aston C.C. RESULT - BOWDON VALE CC WON BY 153 RUNS

 

Trafford MV 2nd XI take the home wicket on Saturday with local rivals Brooklands C.C. 3rd XI as their opponents in the Cheshire Cricket League Div'n B East. This will be a battle between 2nd placed Brooklands and 3rd placed Trafford MV - both teams will be playing for local bragging rights. RESULT - TRAFFORD METROVICS CC WON BY 29 RUNS

 

 

Sunday see's Trafford MV 3rdXI take to the road as they head over to Bramhall C.C. 3rd XI in the Cheshire Cricket League 3rd XI Div 1. Trafford are having a good season and are sitting a healthy 3rd while Bramhall are doing a little less well holding onto 7th position ahead of Ashton On Mersey. RESULT - BRAMHALL CC WON BY 2 WICKETS

 

Also playing on Sunday are Trafford MV 4th XI who are at home against local adversaries Timperley C.C. 6th XI in the Cheshire Cricket League 3rd XI Div 2.  Trafford MV are leading the division on a strong 94 points - 26 points ahead of Elworth C.C. while Timperley on the other hand are rooted at the bottom of the table with only 8 points. RESULT - TRAFFORD METROVICS CC WON BY 10 WICKETS

 

Next Week

 

On Thursday Trafford MV 1st XI will head over to Barnton C.C. for a 6.15pm start in the T20 - 1st XI Plate competition - Semi Final.  Barnton defeated Glazebury and Trafford overcame Woodford in the Quarter Finals.

 

The other Semi Final see's Westminster Park at home against Holmes Chapel.
