Here we are at the biggest weekend in the 1st XV season and we have a strong team heading to Liverpool St Helens on what should be a glorious afternoon for playing and watching Rugby Union.

It would be great to see a few familiar faces on the touchline and at the bar at LSH if you can get there and cheer the boy's on at Moss Lane, Saint Helens, United Kingdom, WA11 7PL

It’s Super Saturday in the Counties 1 ADM this week with permutations at both ends of the league. Trafford travel to Liverpool knowing a win stands between them and a mid table finish, securing their place in the league for next year irrelevant of RFU restructuring.
Other fixtures sees a full 3s squad travelling to Littleborough and both colts sides looking to follow the 2s into their respective cup finals on Sunday.

TMV and LSH are level on points so a win will make all the difference for both clubs.

Below TMV we have Glossop already committed to bottom place in the league and the the next 2 clubs Aspull and Heaton Moor are also meet each other - again a win will make all the difference.

Nothing will be certain until the final whistle blows - all we do know is that TMV need to go all out for a strong performance for the full 80 minutes and go for the win and bring home the points.

At the top of the table West Park and Didsbury Toc H play off for the title with the odd's in West Parks favour.

Trafford  MV's 1st XV has a familiar look about it so let's get behind the players for today's game.

The front row has Jack Gobbett and James Webster propping either side of Craig Collier.

The second row pairs up powerful veteran Andrew Clegg alongside Kieran Edgar.

Jimmy Craven and Chris Ward take on the role of flankers while Micah Dyos holds onto the No 8 spot.

The half back pairing for today's game has Jamie Parker at 9 and captain Pat Eccles at 10.

In the centres Joe Walls continues in his developing role alongside Joe Owens.

Out wide on the wings we have youth and pace in abundance with Adam Halsall and Adam Mason.

Starting the game at full back, with the field in front of him, is Luke O'Shea.

The finishers on the bench are Richard Causer, Andrew Beales and Eanna Glynn.

The Club is proud to have 7 home grown players in todays match day squad and the Club will continue to promote it's home grown talent through selection in the next season.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE PLAYERS TAKING THE FIELD FOR TRAFFORD MV THIS WEEKEND
