Congratulations to England Ladies on winning the 2025 Rugby World Cup overcoming the challenge of Canada on Saturday.
The Women’s Rugby World Cup final was a record breaker, with a peak audience of 5.8m viewers tuning in across BBC TV and streaming to make it the most-watched women’s rugby union match EVER on UK television, AND the most-watched rugby match of the year.
In addition to the TV audience there were a further 81,885 rugby fans packed into Twickenham Allianz Stadium.
