SATURDAYTrafford MV 1st XI will be looking for a change in fortune this weekend as predicted good weather allows potentially a weekend full of cricket. Teams have gone into the season somewhat under prepared and this has done TMV no favours as they sit 11th out of 12 in the Cheshire Cricket League - Div 2 with Aston the only team below them.
Captain Saqib Qadeer will be calling on his players to step up a level and give good measure of themselves in what will be a highly competitive game away to Wirral C.C. who's form guide shows 4 wins from their last 5 recorded fixtures. Our 2nd XI will welcome Over Peover 2nd XI to MacPherson Park on Saturday for a 1.00pm start to their fixture in the Cheshire Cricket League - Div B East. Trafford should be in confident mood as they currently hold 6th position in the 12 team league - Over Peover are sitting in holding onto 11th placing just above Cheadle Hulme Ladybridge. Setting the pace in the League is North East Cheshire C.C. OVER PEOVER CC WON BY 38 RUNS
