SATURDAY - AUGUST 10TH
At 1st XI level Bunbury CC will have home advantage as Trafford MV CC travel into Cheshire for this 12.30pm start to the game. Mid table Bunbury will go into the game as favourites as they sit 7th placed on 133 points while Trafford are struggling at the foot of the table with only 91 points earned from their 15 games so far this season. Playing host will be the 2nd XI who will welcome North East Cheshire 3rd XI to MacPherson Park on Saturday for a 1.00pm start to their game. Traffords 2nd XI have been having a good season to date and find themselves in 3rd place on 164 points just a single point behind 2nd placed Brooklands CC. North East Cheshire are in a solid mid table 7th place after 15 matches and will be hoping for an upset. RESULT - TRAFFORD METROVICKS CC WON BY 57 RUNS
With sunshine forecast there could be a good crowd on the boundary at Trafford MV.
SUNDAY - AUGUST 11TH
Trafford MV 3rd XI will head anti-clockwise on the M60 towards Romiley CC for a 1.00pm start at Birchfield Drive. Holding onto 4th place in the league Trafford will seek to pick good points up from this match against a side struggling at the bottom of the table after 13 games played to date. A good win for TMV will keep pressure on 3rd placed Didsbury CC. RESULT - TRAFFORD METROVICKS CC WON BY 23 RUNS
Also starting at 1.00pm with be the 4th XI game as Trafford MV welcome Woodley CC to MacPherson Park. Trafford are strong leaders of the league with 120 points from 13 games played to date, ahead of Didsbury who have 110 points from 14 games played. Woodley are currently placed 8th in the 10 team league and will be hoping for an upset in this fixture. RESULT - TRAFFORD METROVICKS CC WON BY 36 RUNS
