The forecast for Saturday Nov 8th is dry, bright and sunny with a reasonable warmth - Perfect for playing and watching Rugby at Trafford MV.

 

This Saturday we have 2 home games to entertain our supporters as well as lots of International Rugby on the screens in the Clubhouse. We look forward to welcoming our members and friends for what should be a great day's rugby.

 

The 1st XV play their first home game since Sept 13th as they welcome Wilmslow to MacPherson Park in a game which will be full of fireworks ! Trafford MV will be looking for a sparkling performance as they look to pick up League points against a 2nd placed Wilmslow who we hope will have a dud performance. TMV will need an explosive start and a good result might see our confidence rocket ! Kick Off 2.15pm

TMV 2nd XV make the journey into Lancashire to face Garstang 2nds who also sit 2nd in their League so a tough game can be expected. TMV currently lie 7th and will be looking for a result to put pressure on Vale of Lune.

 

Our 3rd XV will play host to Marple 2nd XV who are currently league leaders with 5 wins from 6 games. We are 3rd placed also with 5 wins and just a single point behind Leek 3rds. This game is also a 2.15pm kick off. We are looking to add players to our 3rd/Social XV if you know someone that might like to play rugby for TMV get them to message Jamie at mensrugby@tmvrfcc.co.uk

 

On Sunday Trafford MV Ladies XV make the short journey to face Broughton Park Women's XV in a 2.00pm kick off . With Broughton Park topping the table Trafford MV are one of 3 teams all in hot pursuit on 11 points just 3 points behind the leaders. Trafford are continuing to recruit well and are looking to carry good form into forthcoming games.
