There is no game for the 1st XV this weekend so our 2nd XV take over the mantle of senior men's team taking the field on Saturday afternoon.
Having a good season to date the 2nd XV will be looking to bounce back from their defeat by Wigan last weekend as they make the short journey to face Altrincham Kersal.
Get to know the players.....
In the front row either side of hooker James Halsall are props Phil Simms and Joe Walls.
Packing down behind them in the second row is Paul Davenport, returning from injury and Adam Whitworth.
The back row has in form Joe Hynes and Andrew Beales flanking with Sam Wilson, also returning from injury, playing No 8.
In the half backs youngsters Ollie Jones and Luke O'Shea link up at 9 and 10 respectively.
The centre partnership for this game is Joe Owen and Kallum Doohan. Outside of them on the wings are Laurence Ryan and Adam Halsall.
Completing the starting XV is Callum Boyd at full back.
The finishers on the bench this weekend has Dave Hopper, Nico Pickard and Jacob Grant.
The Club is very pleased to be fielding 12 home grown players in this 2nd XV squad and look forward to seeing their development over the coming months.
