Trafford MV will be fully focused on the job in hand on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Lancashire side Tarleton to MacPherson Park for a 3.00pm kick off. Director of Rugby Brian Collier will have worked his squad hard during the week and he will be instilling in his players the need to win home matches. With wins already achieved against Liverpool St Helens and Broughton Park and last weeks single point defeat at New Brighton the team are keen to improve on this record.

Joe Cooper comes into the front row alongside hooker Craig Collier and fellow prop James Webster and behind them in the powerhouse second row Kieran Edgar and captain , once again, Andrew Clegg covering for the injured Pat Eccles. In the back row Chris Ward picks up the No 8 while Micah Dyos and in form Lewis Kingdon take the flanks.

Jamie Parker slots in at scrum half and Luke O'Shea calls the shots from stand off. Jamie Kingdon is missing from the centres so Callum Yates reverts to his roll alongside Joe Owen. On the wings Fenton Dickinson continues his good form and in comes Eanna Glynn returning from a prolonged injury. Youngster Ollie Jones keeps hold of the full back spot following his good showing in recent games.

On the bench Phil Simms provided forward back up and Jordan Rigg can add pace later in the game. Andrew Beales completes the match day squad as a good all round player when needed.

The Club calls on members to get behind the team on Saturday afternoon and show support on the touchline. The club bar will be open from 1.00pm for pre-match refreshments. Food will be available. Admission is free and a great friendly atmosphere is assured.
