This Saturday (6th) our Trafford MV 1st start their League season with an away trip to Liverpool St Helens. There are a number of changes to the TMV playing squad following retirements at the end of last season and the new coaching team are looking to put their own stamp on a young developing squad.
The Club is calling on all it's membership to make Saturdays special as the main Senior Rugby day of the week. Support at away games would be greatly appreciated - make a day of it - take a trip out for lunch, watch the game over a pint or two and cheer the lad's on. If you can't make away games with the 1st XV there is always the alternative of 2nd and 3rd XV rugby at home. Bring the kids down to MacPherson Park and make an afternoon of it. Grab a bite, a beer and a bit of Rugby too !!
Playing at home this Saturday with a 3.00pm kick off is the 2nd XV hosting Altrincham Kersal 2nds while also at home is the 3rd XV welcoming Broughton Park 3rd XV.
Beer Festival tickets are available to purchase from the Bar - Cash preferred please.
