Trafford MV 2nds stayed hot on the heels of the league leaders despite missing out in a close game at Kersal.
Trafford were hampered by an early red card for Sam Wilson following a flare up between the teams - this left MV a man short for much of the game which took it's toll in the end.
The final score was 12-5 to Kersal who are now 7th in the league while MV keep the pressure on Wigan and Eccles who are just a single point above them.
Traffords try came from the speedy and elusive Adam Halsall who also picked up the TMV Player of the Match award. Kersal scored 2 tries one of which was converted to take the honours on the day.
The Clubhouse will be open at Trafford MV for the final game of the Autumn Internationals and any local residents or fans of rugby are invited to come down and watch the game with us. Ireland vs Australia kicking off at 3.10pm
